Welcome to St. Mary’s, a Traditional Catholic parish in Western Washington. We had our beginnings as a small group in the mid-seventies, when Modernist doctrines and liturgies were sweeping over the world in the wake of Vatican Council II. Knowing that we could not abandon the traditional teachings and practice of the Roman Catholic Church, we sought for priests who would give us the traditional Mass. God provided, and our numbers grew over the years, making it possible to acquire the present property in 1987. Since 1990, the parish has been staffed by the religious of the Congregation of Mary Immaculate Queen (CMRI). Our parish includes a convent and school, and several active parish organizations. |
