· Jeans, shorts, “flip flops” and other casual attire are inappropriate at church services.

· Women and girls must cover their heads with a suitable hat or veil (I Cor. 11:5,6,10). Chapel veils are available for loan in the vestibule.

· Women and girls must wear dresses or skirts that cover the knee completely when sitting or standing. Slacks, sleeveless tops and tight or low-cut clothing do not meet the norm of Christian modesty.

· Men and boys should wear suit coats and ties.

A reminder that all Catholics are obliged, under pain of mortal sin, to attend Mass on Sundays and Holy Days.

PrayeR for Vocations

O Lord, Jesus Christ, Who didst take to Thyself a body and soul like ours, to teach us the glory of self-sacrifice and service, mercifully deign to instill in other hearts the desire to dedicate their lives to Thee. Give us PRIESTS to stand before Thine altar and to preach the words of Thy Gospel; BROTHERS to assist the priests and to reproduce in themselves Thy humility; SISTERS to teach the young and nurse the sick, and to minister Thy charity to all; LAY PEOPLE to imitate Thee in their homes and families.  Amen.

EASTER DUTY - According to the Divine Law “Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you shall not have life in you” (John 6:54). Catholics are seriously obliged to receive Holy Communion at least once during Eastertide (making a good Confession beforehand, if one has committed mortal sin). Eastertide in the United States begins on the First Sunday of Lent and lasts until Trinity Sunday.

March is the  is the month of St. Joseph

Please pray for the sick and housebound

of our Parish.  God bless you.

Campbell’s Soup Labels & Box Tops for Education Program - Saving the special box tops and soup labels is an excellent way to support our academy! There are also many other products that are part of this program. Please check the parish bulletin board in the church hall for the other various labels that are accepted.   Thank you for saving your box tops and labels!

An Act of Sorrow

Forgive me my sins, O Lord, forgive me my sins:

The sins of my youth, the sins of my age,

The sins of my soul, the sins of my body;

My idle sins, my serious voluntary sins, the sins I know,

The sins I have concealed so long, which are now hidden from memory.

I am truly sorry for every sin, mortal and venial,

For all the sins of my childhood, up to the present hour.

I know my sins have wounded Thy tender heart.

O my Savior, let me be freed from the bonds of evil,

Through the most bitter passion of my Redeemer.

O my Jesus, forget and forgive what I have been.
